I've been wanting to write a novel about mages for a long time. I've had this image in my mind of Mr. Darcy as a great mage, and it wouldn't let go. So with all that's been happening this past year, it seemed like a perfect time to let my give my imagination full rein and live in a magical world for a while. The result was Dangerous Magic . I've loved every minute of writing it, even though combining Regency with fantasy presented some unexpected challenges.
